Houston Gem & Mineral Society

The Houston Gem and Mineral Society holds their annual mineral and fossil show
at the Humble Civic Center and has done so since 2001. It is a large show, with over
8,000 people attending in a 3-day period. To put on a successful show such as this,
it is essential to have a first-rate facility with a staff that is experienced and is devoted
to customer needs. The Humble Civic Center and staff provide all this for us and more. We continually get compliments on the appearance of the convention center. Our society members as well as our vendors agree that the HCC is a wonderful place to hold our show. We hope to be using this facility to hold our show for the indefinite future.
In addition, the HCC staff is always there to help us with preparations for the show,
whether it be electrical needs, having the center opened up (or locked), having access
to spare rooms, or janitorial needs. The office staff has always assisted us in every
way possible before and after the show. The Houston Gem and Mineral Society is very satisfied with the Humble Civic Center and staff, and highly recommends them.
